Animal Encounters are bookable, keeper-led experiences for people who want to get closer than a normal visit allows. A keeper takes a small group behind the scenes to meet a chosen animal, explains how we care for it and gives you time to watch, help with enrichment and ask questions. Encounters are popular as gifts and as a birthday treat, and because group sizes are small they book up quickly at weekends and in the holidays.
